At the start of 2024 our previous manufacturing partner decided to abruptly stop working with us. This caused us to being looking into manufacturing our popular LED JDM license plates in house. We've invested in the tooling and machinery required to help prevent long wait times like we had in the past.
For those unaware, in Japan there are special license plates known as jiko-shiki. Which feature a distinct green glow for what normally are just painted and embossed license plates.
Our jiko shiki style LED license plates are constructed out of high-quality acrylic with integrated LEDs, giving these plates are both durable and a striking appearance. This also allows us to sell the custom LED license plates as one complete unit, rather than requiring both a frame and LED panel.
What sets our Jiko-Shiki license plates apart from traditional Japanese plates is the cut-out characters and numbers, filled with green plastic. When powered with 12v our Jiko-Shiki illuminated license plate appears to glow as the light shines through the green plastic. With built-in LEDs, no additional parts are needed – simply wire the plate to a 12v positive and ground.
Please note that our license plates are for off-road/show use only and are not street legal.

Overall I love this plate. It's really easy to wire up and the build quality is really nice. It did take longer than expected to receive it but I think it was still worth it. It looks amazing on my legnum vr4.
