How We Designed the 7's Day 2025 Sticker (and What It Represents)

Each year, Code Red Performance releases a limited-edition sticker for 7's Day. This year's design pushed further than any previous version.

The theme: street art meets JDM culture. Bold graffiti-influenced typography, Mt. Fuji in the background, and the FD3S front and center in a front 3/4 view — drawn for immediate recognition. It's a 3x3" die-cut vector sticker that puts the aggressive character of the RX-7 against the visual language of urban Japanese car meets.

What's in it:

  • The FD3S RX-7 — front 3/4 view, drawn for instant recognition
  • Illustrated typography — "7/7 2025" and "Code Red Performance" in hand-illustrated text
  • Layered background — vector textures, Mt. Fuji, cherry blossoms, spray-paint detailing
  • Brand colors throughout — red, grey, dark accents, white border

The goal was something that feels like a collectible rather than a giveaway — the kind of thing that earns its place on a toolbox, quarter window, or laptop and stays there.
