Racing Rotary 20W-50

Rotary engines do not lubricate like piston engines. The apex seals, eccentric shaft bearings, and front stationary gear all have demands that general-purpose oils do not address correctly. Idemitsu Racing Rotary was formulated specifically for this.

Use 20W-50 when ambient temperatures are consistently above freezing. In warmer climates — California, Florida, and equivalent — use 20W-50 year round. In climates with distinct cold seasons, switch to 10W-30 during winter months.

• Fully synthetic, advanced Molybdenum formulation — higher temperature protection than 10W-30
• PolyAlphaOlefins and PolyEster base oil blend
• Minimises deposits on apex seals for better chamber sealing
• Extends turbocharger life by reducing bearing coking
• Reduces entrained gas generation — maintains film strength under load
• Molybdenum friction modifier reduces metal-on-metal contact on main bearings and eccentric shaft
• Specialised additives for even tooth load distribution on the front stationary gear
